Hello there.
Like many others who use this website I am here because I am an OpenDiary refugee.
My name is Ian and I am the [alpha:pilot].
As OpenDiary drew to a close I, like many others, decided to save a copy of historic entries as I felt that their history is a part of what makes me the person I am. There are a lot of emotional ups and downs within those entries and, while they will probably never see the light of day again on this website, I felt that they were worth preserving for my own piece of mind.
My move here to Prosebox, more than anything else, provides me with an opportunity to start afresh. To begin a new chapter at a stage in my life in which everything is changing for me. I hope beyond hope that the entries within this blog will be quite unlike my old OpenDiary entries and that they will contain the positive thoughts and feelings that I have as I move through life.
A short background about myself: I am twenty five years old and am living in the South East of the UK. I am a musician and am about to embark on an adventure with a musical project making music using old computer hardware combined with live instruments. I'm a pop culture geek and love everything from films to video games, to comics, to Tv shows. Whether it's hardcore Sci-fi, epic fantasy adventure or a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies, I'm probably in to it.
I look forward to writing within the pages of this blog and have high hopes that 2014 will prove to be the year that I am able to make something out of what I put into it. As I write these words I stand at the beginnings of some very exciting roads in my life. I look forward to what they may bring and to be able to share their enjoyment with you.
