The temp got all the way up to 50. It was nice. Unfortunately I had errands to run, and a nice warm day during a miserable winter is all it take for everyone to need to run errands. Traffic easily competed with mid-summer-massholiosis.

As things go, always in threes. The lever arm in the downstairs toilet broke. Meaning the only way to flush the toilet was to reach into the tank and grab the chain and yank it up to lift the flapper valve.

Then the humidifier filters got gummed up and the humidifier stopped - humidifying.

After a week of not much driving and crazy cold weather Mister Car's battery didn't want to get up from its nap.

Luckily I keep the battery charger on my weight bench at the front of the garage. Off to find a lever arm for the toilet and a filter set for the humidifier. Drive all over the metroplex and no luck on filters. If I have to go online to find replacement filter sets (running about $10.00 each) I am going to buy ten of the things.

Then up 196 to 'Salem's Lot to check on the folks house. All was good, although I couldn't find some paperwork dad needs for their taxes. They'll be back before April 15th and he does everything online.

Both being aviators, we talked about the strange disappearance of the Malaysia Air flight over the south china sea. Nothing about that makes any sense in this day and age. I guess we will find out.
