I got a promotion and all that comes with it. An office, a parking garage pass, a pay increase, bonus eligibility. I'm not very thrilled about the office and couldn't care less about the parking garage. More money is nice but doesn't do a whole lot for me. I always thought success would feel a little sweeter but it's never as meaningful as I would like.
I also signed the separation documents today.
