Class Reunions in Life After 60

Since that magical night in May of 1976, I have only attended 4 of my class reunions. Last night was the fourth. One thing I have noticed about people’s memories of events I was involved in, they are nothing like mine! But it was fun reliving the past, even if it was slightly different than I remember.
Memories are much like the truth. There are always three sides. Yours, mine and somewhere in the middle the real truth! It reminds me of a movie from few years back called “Vantage Point”. We all see things differently. Even if we see the same event.
That is why when someone asked me, to tell the truth, I always add, it is the truth as I see it. One of those legal loopholes. I am not lying, I am just telling the story from my point of view.
Like many of the women from my class have not aged too well. The guys, we still look like we did at 18? And that is the truth as I see it.

I will have to remember the phrase, "the truth as I see it".
