Murder porn in Testing.... testing... 1, 2, 3...

Whenever it's a frustrating work day (which is pretty much every day for the last 2-3 months), I distract myself by having a YouTube video playing while I work. Usually old sitcoms that make me laugh so it relaxes me. It could be Newsradio, Yes, Dear, Boy Meets World, Step by Step, a lot of old sitcoms I grew up with. That or comic book cartoon series (X-Men, Spider-Man, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and for a good laugh: the old 1990's 'Incredible Hulk' cartoon, haha)

But lately it's been me watching the crime forensic shows. The real ones, not the CSI's out there. The ones that an episode of South Park refer to as "murder porn", haha. Since they romanticize the killing, re-enact any love triangles involved, and the chase and drama in finding out who it is. From 'Unusual Suspects', to 'Dateline Mysteries', those kind of shows

I don't know why that's entertaining me now, haha. I guess forensic science always did interest me. So did pyschology, I always said that if I ever went back to school (I never want to though, haha) I'd major in pyschology. I already have my finance degree that's gotten me a good career. Psychology is just interesting to me

That and maybe because I already knew the world was messed up anyways. The cases they show, they're not surprising to me. I read the news everyday regardless, so I knew of these sickos and what they do. I guess I like these shows because it reminds me that they can be caught, and there can be justice. Too many times it seems they go unsolved or the system fails with the whole "insanity plea" thing

But also watching these shows, I'm reminded of another reason I don't want a daughter. That sounds harsh, haha. I mean I would prefer a son to a daughter. My wife and I would love to be blessed with another child later on, but I still would prefer a son. Luckily we our first one was a son, so there's no anxiety in hoping the second one is. We already have the necessary son! Haha

So yeah, given the kind of sickos out there and the random chance they strike. I'd be worried everyday for my daughter. I'd make her take Krav Maga classes or any kind of self-defense class. If ever she wants to go out, she'd have to be in those classes, haha

moral of the story: As extreme as the death penalty is, the criminals behind the acts in these shows just scream, "Death penalty!" :P

Have a Nice Day!

Haha I knew you were talking about South Park. Guys can fall victim to psycho women too. You'll have to worry about your son when he starts dating crazy bitches LOL

According to my wife, our son isn't allowed to date until he's 30. If she enforces that, I'll have 3 decades to wait before those worries, haha

Hahaha yeah, good luck with that.
