The Ebony Remote in Life After 60

Okay, in this politically and racially charged environment one has to be careful of how one approaches certain subjects. So with that thought in mind, I am going to rant about my ebony remote.
I will admit that my eyesight is not what it once was, but whose bright idea was it to make all remotes ebony? Unless you are one of those strange ducks, your furniture is a dark shade. And what happens when one places an ebony remote on an ebony surface or dark color? It disappears, as in blends in so well you don’t see it! Out of the 11 remotes I have for various devices, only one is ivory. That one I can find.
So here’s an idea for manufacturers. For the visually challenged, of mature age, individuals, make a larger ivory remote! Could it really cost that much more? Since they don’t make them I am guessing the answer is yes. So I am going to spend the rest of the day looking off and on for my remote.

I found one year that my debit card and my credit card looked the same. I was allowed to pick what my debit card looked like so I made it look completely different. I agree that the remotes should be a different color. But luckily our living room chair and sofa are redish.
