Came to work on my scooter as usual. Opened the elevator door to find that they had stashed the entire changing room, with the lockers, in the hallway. Asked one of my bosses what happened and she just said “they’re making a new office”.
This is seriously the beginning of the end.
Fine I’m a senior and get away with A LOT of bs. (Like parking my scooter in the changing room), but the feeling of betrayal and the pure disrespect of my department… oof … it stings. First it was lower salaries. Then a new scheduling software that everybody hates. Now this. The discontent is going to be off the scale tomorrow. What hurts the most is that I love my job and my co-workers, I don’t want to look for another job. I bet they timed this with the no-nonsense boss’ vacation so that he wouldn’t go to the ceo and complain…
Other than that I’m a good girl sort of. I left my vape at work so that I wouldn’t be tempted to vape all night in front of the computer. It’s something. Now we’ll see if I can go to bed at a reasonable time too…
