I just got a wrong number... clearly from a telemarketing type place. They asked for a person... nope wrong number. Then... is it a certain address. No. Then we have ways of lowering your electric bill, how large is your home. Oh, it's a condo apartment? No we couldn't help you. HA!!

strange. I work in banking (and maybe this is just a regional thing, cause I work at a smaller bank) but we get people calling who say they got a call from an automated system that said their Visa Mastercard was blocked due to suspicious activity. To reactivate your card press 1, now enter your card number, now your expiration date, and the 3 digit code on the back. Your card is reactivated, thank you! And then 5 minutes later they realize it was a scam and call us, or when all of their money disappears they call us.

I had one once where they said they were my cell phone carrier (now I can't remember if they actually said the company name) but that my last payment has not been received, and you need to make a payment NOW to avoid disconnect. Luckily I had JUST paid, and it was with my debit card, so I was just like- um, I just paid like 2 days ago and it is showing on my bank account and on my cell phone website. Funny thing, he hung up right away. Scammers, ugh.

Isn't it sad that in today's world there are human beings out to steal from, take advantage of and willingly victimize other human beings and animal wildlife all for their own personal gain? Its these sort of events that remind me of how God is watching and listening. I envision God just shaking his head wondering, "How can my children do this to others?"

It was funny that at the end of the call, before the lady hung up, she said, "have a nice night". My response..."It's the middle of the afternoon..." I hung up... she was still talking. I wonder where she was calling FROM.

They are giving up calling my house bit by bit. I always mess with them.
