She's Crying in Masquerade

I’ve always been told that I’ve had sad eyes
Or that I’ve grown up to an amazing person despite my past or what I’ve been through.
I found it very ironic that my eyes can say so much
Or that it was hard for me to shed a tear
No matter the situation; a breakup, a sad scene in a movie, a death.
But today I’ve had my Lyft driver tell me that my name meant “she’s crying” in his language
And at that moment… I wanted to bawl my eyes out.
