Slacking in It's a Suhaila!

I’m not that good at updating here am I? lol..

So what’s been happening? Well… still working part time, also still studying with the Open University.

A few entries back I was talking about getting a kite made with mine and Jasmine’s name on it - well, I’ve got one. Just had to stitch the letters on to the tail on the kite and we now have a mother and daughter personalised kite. And yes it’s purple!

Salena is still seeing her bf, they seem pretty happy together which is great - I love seeing my sister happy.

I’ve joined the dating scene… after my encounter with Sam a few months ago, I am now feeling the need to have someone in my life, so I’ve gone on a few dates. Two of them pretty much made it clear that nce they found out about Jasmine they weren’t interested, another one seemed glued to his phone all night, and there was no spark with the fourth. However, I do have one lined up for tonight, we’ve chatted a few times online and he knows about Jasmine and is still keen to meet, so let’s see where this goes!

And Jasmine… she starts school next September. I’ve managed to get her name down for the local primary school which is close by here (and also close to where I’m working too) so I can walk her to school before going in to work. Maybe things are finally all falling into place for me.

There’s a bit of wind about today, but also some big clouds with heavy showers, so I think I’ll give kite flying a miss!
