We’ve booked our wedding venue. We officially get married on the 12th June 2019.
I have a meeting tomorrow with one of my managers, & in it I’m going to ask for a raise. I joined as an “experienced coder”, meaning unqualified. I passed my ACC in June so now I’m a “ACC coder”, meaning qualified.
I’m quite hopeful they’ll put me up a band, which means I’ll get a nice £5k bump. (Auto correct just changed that to hump, well done auto correct) which means IF we sell our house & move, I’ll easily be able to afford the new higher bills, saving for the wedding, a new car & our planned but not booked plans for Vegas next year.
I’m 85% sure I’ll get it, seeing as the manager I’m having the meeting with basically praised me via email the other day & asked that I don’t leave unless someone was offering two bands higher.
This weekend should have been my friends wedding day, but he’s an ass & cheated on her so obviously it all got cancelled. We’re going to spend the day at lakeside, then go back to our other friends house for pamper & getting ready/drinking before going to a club called pop world. (It’s the only club I’ll go to because they play Disney songs, all the old boy bands etc & I basically pretend like I’m a pre-teen again)
We also need to take Misty to my mums, she’s going on a vacay while we go to Lincoln with my family. (Literally my dad, step mum, brothers & all their kids) we’re in this 16 bed place with three hot tubs & it’s own games room. So we’re all pretty excited about that, I Love spending quality time with everyone. But I’m sure I’ll be ready for a rest from the kids by the end of it.
