she waits in Nothing ends

The words rust in the water

the feeling runs down the drain

the sun kills the moon and

Its fire burns a hole

again

She's waiting down by the riverside

but its not for you and its not for I

Shes only waiting for a ghost

to wash away

her pain

The stones are smoothed over

There are broken links in the chain

she whirls with dead voices

and swims naked

without shame

Look up through still water

Walk across collected rain

dig nails through the bottom

freeze your despair

And drink

again
