His Birthday in Married Life

Today was my husbands birthday. Despite all the problems we’ve had, I really wanted him to have a nice day. I got him a $200 guitar pedal he had really been wanting, made him a card, and planned a dinner with all of our friends and family. So, my dogs tail has been hurting him for a couple weeks; it got slammed in a screen door (on accident) by my husband and now my dog won’t leave it alone and keeps chewing on it till it bleeds, and then whining loudly. Well today, my husband tried to initiate sex with me, and my dog starting whining out of pain from his tail. My husband pushed me off of him, said that I ruined his birthday by being so irresponsible with my dog (I’ve tried so many things to fix his tail in the last few weeks and nothing has helped) and that he’s disgusted with me and doesn’t want to be near me. He then tried to cancel dinner until I begged him not to because I had invited so many people. He ended up going out to dinner and acted like everything was fine while we were gone, but when we got home he started talking again about how much I’ve ruined his life and how he can’t wait to get to work tomorrow so he can get away from me. It hurts so badly because I really tried to give him a nice birthday, but it’s like nothing I do is ever enough. I don’t see this ever getting any better. We’ve only been married 6 months.
