Oh yes, the classic game of wit, verses, skill, versus dumb luck. Deductive reasoning. Of course, there are those among us, that lack the necessary skills to win any game without cheating.
Just the word cheating brings up so many different scenarios. From the obvious of the cheating spouse to the cheating death. (And in some cases it may be both) My formal education did not properly prepare me for life let alone clue, pun intended.
Maybe it was too many Disney movies growing up. They all seem to end with a happily ever after, love conquers all. Reminds me of Captain and Tennille’s “Love will keep us together.” The irony of this song, they divorced. So maybe it takes more than words?
Whatever it is that kills a relationship many times it is a slow process we never see coming. Much like death. One minute you are a new born, and then immediately join the living and start to die. Sort of depressing if you get right down to it. But that is the reality of Life. As someone once said, “Don’t take life so seriously, you will never get out of it alive.
