What the.... in The Monster

I'm am utterly confused right now, remember when I got water on my screen it worked, then died? (also here is a video of the screen when it was dying:

Well this morning the screen I was using stopped working, and I pulled out the main comp to try and fix it, when I did, the screen came on, and it was back to normal......I have no idea what the fuck happened....How would that be possible?
