The Day we Both Knew in The Story of Me

Most people think that love at first site is not a real thing, it a cheesy place to start but once upon a time I felt it. this was back in high school I was in a Screamo band. Most people are shocked by this but you know I was the clean vocals and my friend asked me to be in his band. How could I say no when singing is my dream? so i went for it! We had been practicing at my friends community club house for a mouth but this time when I walked up, but some one different answered…well kinda. Here let me back up a bit that day I was dressed in a beautiful flowing cheetah print dress I drove 30 mins to the club house and walked over to the door. I knocked on the door and the door opened I swear it could have been in slow motion. As the door opened I saw a guy I had never seen before he had natural bleach blond hair and stark light blue eyes. He came around the door looked from my feet to my eyes and then there it was we made eye contact and BOOM!!! Wait… what just happened… did he just slam the door in my face. He did… and at that moment I was so confused, but then he opened the door back up and said “Maddie right?” then I laughed and said “ya.” it all happened so fast but in that moment it felt ever lasing. we both felt I know, we always talked about it… that moment was like seeing an angle and then getting a door slammed in your face… very conflicting. Im just glad the door didn’t stay closed … its funny how much things change.
