Middle school move in General Everyday Ramblings

Well, it looks like I'll be moving schools. I will no longer be a fifth grade teacher. I'll be a sixth grade science teacher! I'm so excited about this. I LOVE teaching science. It's such a fun subject and so hands on. I'm also switching ends of the county I work in. Right now I drive 25 minutes in the morning to get to school and about an hour to get home (yes, traffic sucks that bad at 4:00). My new school is a mile at most from my house. That does mean giving up some anonymity in my community. I will be neighbors with my students, but a five minute drive, awesome subject to teach, and a later wake up time are worth it! All that I'm waiting on is the official word from the personnel office. Everything else is done. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with all my elementary school stuff.
