it’s 2am.... in Everyday Things

and i’m laying here in the dark…desperately trying to stay awake. i have a random 5pm-1am shift tomorrow night and it’s been so long since i’ve worked that shift i’m not sure how i’m gonna stay awake.

my nanny is also moving into a nursing home tomorrow and i’m absolutely horrified about it, to be very honest. rationally i know that’s where she needs to be and the type of care she needs as her cancer is just progressing very fast and she’s starting to deteriorate more; but i just have a hard time trusting these places after watching all these documentaries- gah!!! but she’s excited, and ready to go and i am going to do my best to be happy for her thru it all.
