The beginning of sad times in Just Call Me Your Lunatic Friend. Welcome To The Madness.

Today marks the beginning of some sad days for me because today I began researching power wheelchairs for my mom. She has not been able to stand or walk for months. She just turned 80 years old recently and she is using a broke-down standard wheelchair. She feels trapped 8n our apartment because she can’t get into my vehicle so she sits here 24/7/365. The powerchair will be more comfortable for her and give her back some of her 8ndependance and we will be able to get outside some and breath fresh air.

But while I know this will be better for her, at the same time, it feels like we are giving up on her gett8ng better or walking again. But I’m gonna do 5his for the positives and encourage her to try taking steps during the days. We’ll see.

I have additional reasons for sadness, but I do not wish to focus on me. There are other people I am hoping and praying for their happiness and betterment.
