Just toured a studio in the Upper East Side that was semi affordable but not an ideal price. They gave the Greenwich apartment to somebody else because I couldn't come up with the deposit before Friday. I'm thinking maybe I should wait to check out any more but then again time is running out. I've got 15 days. Well, I guess 15 days isn't too bad, plus an extra buffer week where I could crash at a friends if need be.
My flatmate Tasha and I are going to go to Whole Foods today which is like the biggest event ever for us poor people. Once every 3 months or so we splurge and fill our fridge with stuff that SHOULD be in there.
Last night one of my good friends who goes to medical school in the BX now, her boyfriend, Tasha and I went to this bar called Boat Basin which is on the Hudson river. It's super gorgeous and the outdoor seating area itself looks like Paris. Then there is a harbour where you can sit and chill and listen to the calming sound of boats bumping up against the docks.. I couldn't help but think how awesome it would be to come here at night and hop in one of the uncovered yachts and have sex.
