Now that my spring concerts are finished and the year is wrapping up, my mind is pretty much occupied with everything birthing and baby.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant today, which means I could pop any time between now and 42 weeks (hopefully I don’t go late…40 weeks is a full term pregnancy)

Here is a list of things I cannot wait to do again once this baby is out

  1. Touch my toes
  2. Walk without my belly hitting my legs
  3. Deep spinal twists (especially to crack my back)
  4. Lay on my back comfortably
  5. Lay on my stomach
  6. Sit in any position comfortably
  7. Stand for more than 5 minutes without any pain
  8. Stretch my butt and hip muscles
  9. Have sex in any position we like
  10. Cut my toenails myself
  11. Shower comfortably (see touch my toes)
  12. Play on the floor with Freddie
  13. Get up off the floor/couch/chair without it being a whole ordeal
  14. Eat sushi
  15. Have an alcoholic beverage
  16. Be able to clean the house and run errands without tiring out easily
  17. Drive comfortably
  18. Hug my husband normally
  19. Cuddle my babies normally
  20. Cook/clean/wash dishes without hurting my back

I’m getting excited and anxious to meet our little lady. She’s head down, perfect birthing position, ready to go. I’ve got my hospital bag ready, adult diapers ready in my car, classroom, and house in case my water breaks, and we have a vague plan of what we’re going to do in different scenarios. Baby girl is already weighing in about 7.3lbs, so I’m hoping we don’t have much longer, even though those measurements can be wrong. I’m just ready to get this over with and start our new normal.

Hopefully, 3 weeks or less. sigh

Later
