Today has been an interesting day and it's only 1:30pm lol. I did my normal routine with the kids in the morning and then decided I was going to take them to a play centre I haven't taken Cody to in a while as a treat for him just because. So I get us all ready and we get there and I find out they're closed on Monday's. Are you effing kidding me? It took me forever to get the kids ready, bundled up and outside. OMG. So there was no way I was just going home after that so I took the kids to the mall, loaded them into the double stroller in sub zero ridiculous temperatures and wandered around. I browsed Target for a bit, let Cody play with some Thomas the train stuff, looked at toys for Miles and then went to a toy store to let Cody play with the train set they had. The guy that worked there was seriously annoying me asking me if I needed help with anything every 5 minutes probably cuz he realized I was just standing there letting Cody play. Not sure what the big deal was about that. I had to bribe Cody with a snack to get him to leave and he was still crying.

So we ended up getting a crepe filled with strawberries and Nutella as a snack which is something I've never had. Wow! That was sooooooo not on my diet lol. But it was AMAZING. So we eat that and Cody keeps pointing at the lady who made it to which I had to say "no, we're not having another one" lol. The lady laughed. Then he tears off down the mall and I chase after him. He runs faster when he sees the ice because we have an arena in our mall and he saw the Zamboni and he is OBSESSED with arenas and Zambonis. Next thing you know he is running around hugging random children he sees because that's just something he likes to do. These older kids that were like 10 or so thought it was hilarious. I just hoped none of them had a cold.

At that point I decided I am in a bit of a bad mood today because my parents, brother, SIL and niece are all at Disneyworld this very moment and I'm bored trying to occupy myself and the kids so I order a poutine at New York fries which is something I've not had in probably 4 months. Yummy! Cody is frantically pointing at the hot dogs so I go to get him one but my debit card wouldn't work. The lady told me she would pay for it which was super nice of her but then guess what? Cody doesn't even end up eating a single bite of it. Nice kid. This is normal lately. He was running around like a nut watching the hockey players on the ice while I ate my poutine and kept Miles happy in his car seat in the stroller. By this time we'd been at the mall for 3 hours already and both of them looked like zombies and kept yawning so I knew it was time to go. I blared music and clapped randomly for the 10 minute drive home and kept checking Miles in the mirror to make sure he didn't fall asleep lol. Then I was able to slip each of them easily into bed. Yay! Free Mommy time except my eyes are wanting to close too. What the heck?! Oh the life of a Mom :)

So now I sit here eating BBQ chips (bad I know) and watching the snow fall out the window as I think about my family who are in t-shirts probably sweating right now and having a blast at Magic Kingdom. My niece is going to be 5 next month. I texted my mom this morning and told them not to miss The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Jungle Cruise, 3 of my favorite rides at Magic Kingdom. Can't wait to hear what she thought of the place.

Oh I was wondering if anyone had any advice....my husband didn't go to college or university after high school so he has a factory job and he feels like since he doesn't have any secondary education he will have to stay in that kind of job that he doesn't enjoy and that doesn't pay a ton until he retires. So many jobs require further education these days. We can't afford for him to go back to school unfortunately. Any idea of what else he could do? I wish he could find something that makes more money but we have no idea what that could be for him :(

....and now of course after less than an hour of sleeping Miles is already up. Omg kill me now...
