1. Purpose of life in Life Questions

To simply put, I think about this kind of stuff often and wonder about all the different possibilities of why we’re here, from religious reasons to scientific, to a combo of both. This still leaves me with the question of what is our purpose.

From my brain, the reason isn’t only one answer to this, as it would be for people of hardcore beliefs. I think our main purpose is to conquer. I think at some point we will populate too much and will need to explore more of our Solar System and make living arraignments elsewhere. I think our sub-purpose is to teach the next generation after us how to be smarter, better, more efficient than our generation, to help with this conquering and exploring. It’s always about the next chess move on the board, our move is looking where the next piece goes and making the best decision on it, like our parents and grandparents before us. We all have some kind of heritage or generation before us with some amazing stories or places they came from or lifestyles that were terrible, yet they pushed through and made a better life (for most of us) for us then they had themselves. If we do everything right, then our kids will do the same for theirs and so on and so on, till the day comes where we will need to reach out to other worlds to populate and have to use our big brains of ours to make it work, to push forward, to keep moving, this will only work if we have generations of life behind us pushing us with that set determination of “survival”. After all, we don’t have claws, thick fur, we can’t run or anything to keep ourselves alive till we are about 3.. We only have our brains, to keep manipulating things to our advantage, metal into cars and weapons, projecting explosives our barrels to kill things, to build amazing shelters to live anywhere we want, we have learned so much and it’s our job to keep it moving forward and to avoid extinction.

This is our purpose, according to me.. it’s our only true palpable and tangible thing we know and can control that will directly effect our lives and those after us.
