Coltrane was a
Mockingbird
skippity doo bop tuning
though the night
‘Cause a mockingbird’s a
jazz bird,
endless beginnings
beginningless ends twitterpated
cacophonistic calisthenics
the primeval insomniac
with no way of reckoning
what or why
the spinning pattern of
magic
glistens through the thick
antisilence
of night.
