Another 6" of snow on top of who knows how much so far this winter. Another 2" or so on tap for tonight.

I fired up the snow thrower first thing this morning. The young lady across the street had been at it for an hour or so. I cleared my drive and sidewalk in twenty minutes. I would have volunteered to clear the end of her drive - except I could see her husband's car in the garage. So she was doing it as a workout. Or whatever division of work goes on over there.

None of my business.

Plus I needed to get to the store. All out of coffee. Can't have any of that. I can live in an apartment with no heat or electricity - but I have a camp stove to make coffee.

I am struggling with winter burnout. This has been a long slog. The next time the temperature gets into the mid forties I am going to the beach to get some vitamin D.

I went out back to try to dig a trench to my grill. But it is three feet of alternating layers of snow and ice. With not much room to work with I gave up after ten minutes. I will take a pickaxe, some dynamite and a bigger shovel to clear that crap out. Unfortunately I have some chicken I need to grill or freeze soon. I'm not good with chicken on the stove.
