I'm an idiot... in 2019

So, last Wednesday, I was supposed to get my period. Wednesday came & went. No biggie. It’ll come Thursday morning. Thursday came & went. Now…normally, I wouldn’t worry because James & I don’t have sex. But we did. One time. In the middle of the month.

I’m on the pill. And he has had a vasectomy. But like they say…there’s always a chance. My co-worked fucked up her thumb roof raking her house and had to go to Urgent Care Friday morning, so I picked up her shift sending me to work and open-close. Same day I woke up with an AWFUL head cold. I literally had SNOT running all over my face. I worked from 10:30 a.m.-1:45 a.m. I had planned on running to town to get groceries and pick up a pregnancy test. But since I was working all day (and the next day), I wasn’t going to make it. So, I had James get me one, he brought it to work, and I took it. Negative. (To which James replied, I’m kind of disappointed, but kind of relieved. Um, no buddy…all relieved…)

Funny story. I went to take my pill after I took the test and I noticed something. I took the whole fucking pack of pills BACKWARDS. facepalm

Kids got home from school yesterday and before I listened to Brady read, I went to the bathroom. Bleeding like a stuck fucking pig. Oofda. I don’t even want to go to the bathroom. Idiot, I tell you. So, we’ll see how long this lasts for.

Other than that, things are things. Between Thursday-Monday, I worked about 51 hours. I got a bit drunk Sunday night and James wanted sex. Fine. I got him hard, shoved my boobies in his face, put him in me, and he immediately went soft. Um. WTF. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago. He initially blamed it on me and I flipped out. No, not my fault. Then he said it’s his fault. I told him to fucking figure his shit out.

Maddie made it to State for Gymnastics. I don’t think I posted from her last meet. She did crazy amazing once again. She had what she called a little “whoopsie daisy” on her floor routine where she was supposed to do a roundoff backwards roll…but accidentally did a roundoff back handspring. Instead of landing her back handspring, she kinda went down to her finishing move. In the video, you can hear me GASP. LOL! She said that when she went back to her coaches, she said, “You’re not mad at me, are you?!??” SO cute. The thing is…how EFFORTLESS the ROBH was for her.

She also got 1st in All Around. Out of ALL the gymnasts at the event (about 330), she tied for 4th in All Around. FOURTH. We are really so proud of her. Frankly, I am nervous as hell for State. There are girls from ALL of Minnesota. I do not know normally how our girls do at this event, but all she can do is try her best. She’s been practicing the shit out of her bar routine…trying to get a higher, but quality cast, for her back hip circle. We are going to open gym this Sunday. It’s REALLY frustrating because State is March 29-31…we still do not know when specifically she will be competing. So, I can’t plan work or a hotel AT ALL until it’s posted. So annoying.

We had conferences for both kids a couple weeks ago. They are both doing REALLY well. Maddie is learning how to read. Her math is outstanding. Brady is reading huge words and chapter books. He’s onto multiplication and 3rd grade math. They’re both good friends to their classmates. Outside of school, Brady does have some “issues” as far as his anger, but it’s ok. He’s definitely my kid.

So, yeah…busy, busy, busy. I should probably shower. My laptop battery sucks. I guess it is 4.5 years old.
