Mother of the bride in my life

Went wedding dress shopping with my daughter tonight. Step-mom and both grandmas were there along with my younger daughter. I wasn’t looking forward to seeing my former mil or my ex-husband’s wife, but intended to have a positive attitude. Step mom jumped in right away taking charge. She’s always tried to one up me. She always needs attention. So irritating.
