I gained 85 pounds when I was pregnant with my daughter. I completely blame myself for losing control (although, when she was born, I couldn't understand why she only weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces...instead of 85 pounds). That was almost three years ago. Three years later, and I still have 40 pounds of baby weight still on me.
I've tried working out (two-a-days), eating healthy, etc. Nothing seems to work because of one thing or another.
My sister-in-law just finished her third month of the "Take Shape For Life" program. She has lost 30 pounds, and dropped from a size 14 to a size 10.
My uncle, aunt, and my aunt's sister have also all done this program with amazing results.
And soon it will be my turn. I'm not sure how supportive my husband will be. It's an expensive program, but we have the money to do it. If we didn't, I wouldn't even give it a second look. I need to be a healthy weight again. I need to regain my confidence in myself.
We'll see what he says. I'm doing it regardless...it'll just be easier with a support system.
