Happy Valentine's Day!
I always feel like such a cheeseball but I really like this 'holiday'. I do believe that we don't need a day to show how much we love our others but, it's a good day to do something extra, super, special. Danny and I have been talking for YEARS about making a scrapbook and I'm finally working on it. We have nearly 200 pictures together and lots of other memorabilia. It's about time we put that stuff somewhere other than friggin' Facebook. He better like it, I've logged 10 hours into it (in 2 days) and a hundy (I know, high roller). I know he will. Especially the last page. My last 3 pages are sporting events we've been to and the very last page (so far) says "Dallas Mavericks" and I have 2 tickets to a game next month. SURPRISE!
Excited for tonight, he got us a reservation at a my favorite sushi spot and a hotel room at a nice hotel in Dallas. Just a little staycation :) We are also getting breakfast in bed served to us in the am, along with some champagne. Perfect for me because we're moving him into his new place tomorrow. A nice buzz is in order!!
Reading my 'bookmarks' on here, I'm wondering what the HELL is up with this crazy bia we call "Mother Nature". All this snow and freeeezing weather is just ridiculous. I definitely understand now why people get so depressed in winter. Luckily, I think it's done here in Texas but we have definitely broke a lot of records. Pissed we never had a real snow storm like most of the country, ice storms are sad! And frightening! It ice on Monday and there were 100+ wrecks and 4 deaths, just in DFW. Crazy.
