Tempura Day in Shutterbug

Today is National Tempura Day. I like tempura and I learned something new in August 2017 about the origin of tempura(see link).

I could say what’s on my mind so I won’t have a cluttered head, but it seems almost everytime I want to express what I want to say on a blog site I get writer’s block. On the other hand, when I go to a social media site my thoughts roll off rather easily. Weird, huh?

Right now I feel like I am doing an all night like back in the days when I was in college for a couple of classes for final exams. Waiting till the last second to study/get things done. Two months ago Flickr.com sent out a notice to Flickr members on the changes on their site. A few months before the change of the announcement Yahoo!/Flickr was purchased by Smugmug.com. Change is not always a good feeling, especially when so many online users have been getting things for free for years. I’m pretty sure many Yahoo!/Flickr members weren’t paying for extra perks when they were receiving 1TB storage space. I was one of ‘em.
I did have two months to make up my mind. However, as most people things got in the way, wondering what I should do with my Flickr account wasn’t high on my list especially when I have to take care of my Dad full-time. For you other Flickr members maybe the decision for you was easy, hard or disappointing. There were quite a few Flickr members who grumbled on Flickr’s Facebook page where some I agreed on the changes and didn’t agree with even though they fully understood and back the changes in Flickr, but their point of views made me see there had to be changed to that photo online Website.
