I did a quick online test that said ENFP. I’ve never really paid much attention to these things but here’s a little story.

Before I had kids I was a nanny and, after I left London, I spent eighteen months with a family in Marlborough. The mum worked in human resources and, for fun, asked if I wanted to do the test. So, for fun, I did.

Previously, this same boss had given me the Bridget Jones book, telling me that she reminded her of me… I read the book and, as I did, realised that my boss was projecting all her insecurities on me. I found Bridget to be annoying, neurotic and embarrassed waaaay too easily. Weighing herself several times a day and being obsessed with finding ‘her man’. I didn’t go on to read further books nor watch the movie as I just didn’t like her!

Anyway. I answered the questions as truthfully as possible. I really put a lot of effort into it. And my boss dismissed my result, saying that I must have answered differently because i was still grieving my mum’s death (she had died a couple of months earlier).

I really couldn’t believe how little my boss, the mother of the kids I was helping to raise, actually knew me; that she really thought I was neurotic!!
