Cookies in Ponderings of the Universe

I have tomorrow off. Whee!!!

Today was vet student extern’s first day. I like her. I’d hire her over the other doctor who has sort of interviewed with us. When new boss asks for feedback I’ll tell her that. Recent interviewee seems too normal and conventional, if you know what I mean. Extern seems kind of odd and quirky which fits in better with us as a practice, I think.

Of course, the first appointment I bring her in with me turned into a euthanasia. Welcome to our practice! She wasn’t phased and thought it was helpful hearing my euthanasia spiel. I had some other weird appointments today that were first for her so I’m glad we’re helping her learn.

Did my second Plated meal tonight. It was a Korean sesame beef dish. Quite tasty. Didn’t seem like too much work but I was tired from making dough for chai cookies (also from Plated), which I need to bake before I go to bed so Aaron has late night study snacks. He has a big exam tonight so I expect he’ll be up pretty late.

Must go make cookies, then go to sleep.
