What am I passionate about?

The thing that raises my passions more than anything else right now is also something that causes me intense frustration.

The state of modern education which still runs on a model created during the industrial revolution, created in order to educate the childish out of the child so they would be ready to work as young as possible.
An education system which is run by a government who have never worked in education and have fond memories of their Eton days.
An education system which is judged on statistics and stops children from being children in order to churn out good data so the school can sell themselves on that.
An education system which is underfunded by millions leaving more vulnerable children without pastoral care, leaving teaching staff without support or continuous training.
An education system which fails the children and the parents who believe and trust in it as well as failing the qualified professionals who work for it; those professionals hold little respect from the system for whom they work.

An education system which is well and truly fucked.

Scream it for the people in the back. Because I think a lot of people are seriously deaf to this problem.
