Ignite the spark
Open the door
Turn flickered flames upon my wick
Light up the dark
Like none before
I may or may not tire out quick
But I’ll expire
On my own terms
Die or shine on, burn slow or fast
Lit by a fire
Long may I turn
But I will not be lit by gas
