Tomorrow night at church, I am having a surprise 50th birthday party for my husband. He is going to kill me. I haven't even told our 12-year old son. Everyone knows a 12-year old can't keep a secret.
I got him a new wedding band and that is the real surprise. He hasn't had one in years and had mentioned that he'd like us to be married again. LOL.
We had a great day together! One family at our church and another in our neighborhood are struggling right now, so when we bought our groceries, we picked up groceries for them as well. Joshua kept saying "I think you are spending too much money." I guess he's used to hearing me say how broke we are. 😊
We have finally finished paying for his class trip to Washington, DC and Williamsburg, VA, so we aren't quite as broke anymore. We also paid off his trombone. Now to tackle the rest of the bills.
II have decided to go with the band on April 12 to Six Flags. I believe I will love it! We are taking a charter bus and I know it will be fun!
Got to get some rest. Tomorrow is a big day!
