Weekend in Always could use a friend

Nice weekend I had with my daughter, went to the park while the weather was decent, helped clean up at the soup kitchen and my daughter and I helped out at the animal shelter. She helped with food and water and played with almost every cat they have. She knows we aren’t allowed to have pets where we live but this is just as good. I’m glad she enjoys it there. It’s hard to leave sometimes but think it’s harder not falling in love with all of them lol. It’s fun though and never feels like work.
For some reason I love the smell that’s in the air when it changes to October. Right temperature, not too cold and not to hot, leaves are falling and covering the ground, I love this time of the year. I know the stress of the holidays will hit soon but this is just a quick breathe to take. Enjoy the season and have a great day. Keep your head up out there.
