I promised pictures of my children, so here they are.
I know I'm biased, but I think they're awfully beautiful.
Austin, my Smiley Guy, turns 7 years old 2 weeks from tomorrow. It's bittersweet to see my baby getting older. He has come so far, but will still have to work incredibly hard for his whole life, really. The reality is that nothing will come easily for him... aside from maybe winning the hearts of people everywhere with that ridiculous smile and laugh. I wouldn't trade him for the world. I'm truly blessed to be his mama. We're also blessed by all the teachers, therapists, and aides who work with him on a daily basis and have worked with him in the past. It takes special people to work with children with special needs. We see greatness in Austin's school and staff all the time. He loves it there, and we love it, too.
