Big Lift where We Inspected the DP's day or night in Tales of the Jointed Track

The video shows where we used to inspect the DP’s ( Distributive Power ). DP’s are a “helper” so to speak controlled by a dedicated radio frequency assigned to the railroad. The engineer controls these from the lead unit. You’ll see the overpass and the curve in the background. During the day you’d spot the DP’s and call out 20 cars, as they passed under Titan Parkway 10 cars and then five and stop. At night you’d look for the step lights, if they were on, or by the sound. It would place them in the general area. Some overshot. Not bad, unless we had to add water. The water trailer is gone. The troubleshooter position has been eliminated, so they are now basically on their own. I’ll try to get a pic of the water trailer I know I have one somewhere.
