Working in Singapore this week. At a work conference til Thursday then two days of the tourist stuff.
First time here and really enjoying the city. Clean, ordered, tidy and while slightly autocratic the peope seem happy.
Food is great. Was a guest of a supplier yesterday and ate crab for the first time. Alaskan Crab, done as Singapore Chiili Crab. It was delicios. LAst night was trolley car night tour fo the Zoo. Met some interesting Americans and had a pleasant evening.
Fly home Saturday night.
Oh. Purchased an investment unit is Gladstone last week. Bought it from a Mortgagee in Possession Bank for under $140k. Rents for $200.a week. Cost $500k new six years ago and would cost $330k to build today. It’s long term but its like we rebooted to 1998 prices so fingers crossed.
