It’s a common, annual thing for most people in Jakarta to go out of town during Eid holiday. Some are to see their relatives back home. Some just want to get away.

For those who can’t, don’t, or even won’t do the same…well, it’s a blessing too. It’s a rare condition in Jakarta. The streets are almost empty. The sky is clearer than usual. It’s less polluted too. Yay!

For some people who are not too tired after endless house chores and two Eid days of family gathering and meeting friends nearby, they taken an advantage of that rare moment. A drive around the city is never that good. So quick, less hassle.

However, this never lasts. Soon they all come back, crowding this big city again some more…
