I guess I'll begin with the trials and tribulations of city bus riding. Told ya you'd hear about it sooner or later. So, I volunteer with the red cross on Wednesday afternoons. Been doing it since 2011. I truly enjoy it. Anyway, I take the bus home and last week the driver told me told stand in a different a spot that I'd been standing in for over two years. I said no problem and stood in the spot he recommened. So, I saw him round the corner so, I started waving my arms, I know that sucker saw me. Then he passed me right the fuck up. And stopped about 40 yds down to let off someone. I yelled HOLD THE BUS! This dumb fuck didn't, just kept walking. Needless to say, I missed it. I was FUMING! I just wanted to get out of the cold wind and into my nice warm home. I live approximately 4 miles away. So, I called J (my bf) and proceeded to walk. He kept calling me but I was on the horn with WSTA (bus station) to give them an earful. Bastards. I wound up having to call a cab and wait half an hour in the cold fucking wind for it. By this time my face was damn near purple from wind and rage.
But, I got home and my wonderful J had a hot bath waiting for me. I felt bad for him because i couldn't just ' shake it off'. He even offered to wash my hair and I said no. I should've just accepted his oh so good love and let him do it.
I will say for as heated as I was, I never asked for any meds (xanax xr 3mg). I could've used one, but im trying to be strong. I make him keep my meds and give me one in the mornings and no more. Otherwise with my history, they would have been gone too soon. And im in this life to do good and keep myself in check. Handing my pills over every month is so damn hard to do, but as an addict in recovery (four years now), it is the most responsible thing to do. So......
Today is my day off ft om school, so it's clean the apartment day. Laundry, vacuum, that sort of shit. Then I gotta walk down to the grocery to get some meals. I'll do that later when it warms up. I guess it's off to clean, so toodles for now.
Have a fabulous day!
