Love/Hate Relationship with shift work in 2018

I love having my days to myself. To be able to get things done during the day, and to sleep late and not have to work during the day time hours can be wonderful, but on days like today, when I was awake at 10 (after staying up until 4 so I could hopefully sleep). and not being able to fall back asleep when I know I have to be at work by 8:30 is sucking. Plus I have plans all day tomorrow so I am going to have to suck it up and manage to stay awake on Saturday AND Sunday.

sigh I’m working nights next week as well. Then hopefully everything settles down.

I should atleast go finish my laundry and try to grab a nap.
