Ex-wives and stepsons in my life

I’m so glad that I’ve changed over the years. I really like me, and am glad that anxiety doesn’t have a stronghold on me anymore. I went this weekend to my boyfriend’s ex-wife’s house to meet his son who just got out of prison after 10 years. Not something I would have been ok with doing years ago. Anxiety would have caused me to shut down, but I held my own and managed just fine. It was a little awkward at first, but quickly turned to being just fine. So glad he’s home. Just hoping he keeps his head on straight and makes positive strides forward.
