When I got home around 4:45 this afternoon, this is what the view from my front door looked like. It's days like this where I'm thankful that I only live 1.5 miles from my office. It's nothing like when I had an eighty five minute drive each way when I worked in Ithaca and lived in PA. (And that trip was all hills, no less.)
Sadly, this weather means that I couldn't go grocery shopping tonight. I will have to do it either tomorrow evening after I meet with my coven or wait until Friday. I'm not sure waiting until Friday is really an option either, as I'm about out of fruit and yogurt. I could probably stretch the yogurt by having ice cream with dinner instead of yogurt, but there's no way to stretch out the three or four apples I have left.
I'm tired of winter right now. It hasn't even been the snow that's done me in, though. It was all the days with single-digit temperatures and sub-zero wind chills. I'll be so glad when winter gets here.
