He's back!!! in Just me!

My grandson Owen has been on a school trip for 16 days and is finally back!! I will get to spend time with him tomorrow when we celebrate his return, his sister Caroline’s birthday (she’s 9 today!), and Mother’s Day! Can’t wait to hear all about the trip and get to hug that boy again!

He is 15 and in the 9th grade. We are a private Montessori school, and this was the first year for having a 9th grade. There were 3 boys in the class, and they went with 2 teachers to the Pacific Northwest. We are in NC, and they flew to Washington, then rented an RV and went into Canada and all around that area. Every year the 8th grade flies to Costa Rica for 10 days and visits with our sister school there.

A great trip. When I was 16 I went on a 3 week bus trip from KS to NYC. Made an extremely short stop in Washington DC. It was a wonderful trip.

They actually flew to Washington state, but DC is great, too. We used to live about 50 miles south of there and enjoyed visiting it.
