Sweet Sixteen in In the Meadow

Today is Kayla and Timmy’s sixteenth birthday. I remember carrying them in the twin backpack. We read lots of stories. I remember their first day of pre-K. Now they are high school sophomores. They are ready to get their learners’ permits once school ends for the summer. We have friends and family coming over for their sweet sixteen party this evening and tomorrow.
