Okay so just to let everyone know Green Day is hands down my favorite band...and not only that they are the band that introduced me to other bands that are fantastic. Green Day was my transition from retarded pop music with droning repetitive lyrics when I was 7 to the kick ass punk and indie music that I have loved for the past 8 years :) This music has gotten me through tough times and also good times when I felt like singing and rockin my face off!
I have known for a while that Green Day is doing a new tour for their new album trilogy but I was so hoping that they would have at least one show in Tennessee.
I was devastated when I looked at the tour locations and found out that the only show that is relatively close to me is in Virginia. I don't have the money to drive 11 hours, fly, or take a bus...it royally sucks ass not to mention that the show is on a Monday so even if I had the money I couldn't go anyway! Dammit I'm in college!!!. I have never seen Green Day live before and I have always wanted to. From the comments about previous shows they are AMAZING AS FUCK!!!
Everybody just weep for me lol I am so scared that Green Day won't do another tour....I mean Billie turned 40 this year...I know that 40 isn't that old but I mean what if I never get to see them live :( PLEASE NEVER RETIRE GREEN DAY!!!
Well that was my rant for the day haha. I hope that maybe they announce more tour locations and dates :) Wish me so much luck :)
