I was awakened this morning by the welcome sound of rain hitting the windows. I had gone to bed with the forecast of 4-6 inches of snow fo0llowed by sleet and hail. Mother Nature, nice Lady that she is, decided to give the area a pass and elected to have the snow followed up by all rain. This gifted me with a clean car being rinsed again as the rains came. There was no covering of ice on the road to make driving treacherous.
I attended a Council Meeting last night and it was the most bitter I have ever seen. The audience was packed with friends of the Library that had been demolished recently. Felt that they had been lied to by Council members and mislead. These were people who espoused conspiracy theory and subterfuge on the part of some of the Council Members. I do believe that this years November election are going to be a battle.
I have received some very good news about Katie, my youngest Grandchild, the self-proclaimed FAVORITE, has been selected to spend this Summer between her Sophomore and Junior years of High School abroad. She will attend Saint Andrews University in Scotland studying Creative Writing. I think it might be a good place to go to learn Golf.
I am feeling sorry for Robert my son who leaves along with his family tomorrow AM for 5 days in Florida with his in-laws for his MIL’s 90t6h birthday. He has a hacking cough and he looks week and colored in 50 shades of Gray.
