Friday in 2018

It’s crazy that on Monday we will have been married for one year. The year has just flown by cause it feels like the wedding just happened yesterday. We first started thinking that we would want to go away for the weekend but the more we have talked about it we ended up squashing those plans. So we are just gonna go out to the condo for the weekend and maybe do a day trip down to Oceanside for some of the best barbecue that I’ve found here in California. We decided we wanted to take the money we would use on a weekend getaway and buy kayaks.

I have to get up soon an start cleaning up and getting ready as we are going to an assembly to see Adriana receive her award today. It’s funny this kid that we didn’t even know three years ago is now a big part of our lives. She has forever changed our lives cause as much as I have ever wanted to have kids now I don’t only think about having our own biological kid but we talk about how we would some day like to adopt a kid. Sarah is kinda crazy and mentioned adopting a teenager which right now sounds crazy to me cause we are young and having a teenager now just seems weird but who knows maybe down the road that idea won’t seem so crazy. Everyone deserves a family right.
