to work that is. ok i shouldn't be fussy, but after a long break of 5 days, it really is a dread to be in office. this week is a slow week at snail's pace indeed. got some work done with great effort as the battery is a bit weak.

i enjoyed my lunar new year break. had reunion steamboat dinner at my parents place on the last day of the year. had 1/2 day official leave, went back and fed the kids before going to my mum's. brought the yu sheng over for us to have the traditional tossing of salad for luck and health. my kids were busy exploring the toys in my mum's place and weren't fussy at all. my helper wasn't bothered by Summer my dog and that was great.

on the 1st day, went to my parents again for lunch. kid's played again and slept whilst we bathed the dog. then dinner, we ate at home with the food we had stocked up. simple dishes.

on the 2nd day, we ate spaghetti for lunch, went out to get groceries and went to my aunt's place for dinner. was relaxing spending time reading n playing. quality time with my kids makes me happy.

took leave on a monday and we went to Gardens by the Bay. was great ! the flowers were beautiful in the flower dome where they had new year flowers in the Year of the Horse theme. the air in the 2 domes were nicely cooled, hubby mentioned the nice strong air-con was worth the ticket prices alone. admission was $20 for local and $28 for my helper as we forgot to bring her wp. it was nice and chilly at the cloud forest and sky-walk as it resembles mountain air climate. waterfall at the entrance was really cold!

oh for more holidays!
